Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo and turkey breast; raw string beans

Supper: 3 slices WW bread with 3 slices pepperjack cheese and tomatoes broiled; 2 glasses merlot

Exercise: walked around the block for 5 times=1 and 1/4 mile

Sunday

Breakfast: grilled ham and cheese made with 2 slices WW bread, butter, canola mayo, pepperjack cheese and lean imported ham; banana; skim milk

Lunch: 1 and 1/2 WW pita pizzas with spaghetti sauce, alfredo sauce, double pizza cheese, green peppers, chicken breast; skim milk

Supper: Rosemary and Olive oil Triscuits with seafood salad mixed with cream cheese and sour cream; 2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: washed and waxed kitchen floor plus did several loads of laundry.

Exercise: 5 times around the block=1 and 1/4 miles.

Supper: handful of peanuts; 2 pita pizzas with spaghetti sauce, alfredo sauce, double pizza cheese, green peppers, and chicken breast; 2 glasses merlot

Exercise: jogged to Rudy's and shoveled a bit. That's it. Shame on me!

Half Way Done

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with leftover baked ham slice with canola mayo; carrot sticks

Supper: seafood salad made with imitation crabmeat, a can of lump crabmeat, and a can of tiny cleaned shrimp mixed with canola mayo in a whole grain tortilla with lettuce and tomatoes; 1 1/2 glasses of merlot

Exercise: I walked up around the Russian church and around the block twice for a total of about a mile and a half.

Supper: 1 piece of ham steak; baked potato with Smart Balance and sour cream; 1 whole can of creamed corn; 2 glasses merlot.

Exercise: 1 mile around the block

MONDAY

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with Smart Balance, canola mayo and chicken breast; banana; skim milk

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo and chicken breast; carrot sticks; water

Snack: Vitamin, fish oil, Slow-acting niacin

Supper: WW egg noodles with sauce: onions, garlic, stewed tomatoes, basil, oregano, scrushed red pepper, jar of alfredo sauce, and half jar of spaghetti sauce. YUMMY! 2 1/2 glasses merlot

Weekend Eating Woes

FRIDAY

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol and tuna salad; banana; skim milk

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with trkey breast, canola mayo; carrot sticks; water

Appetizer: Triscuits with cheese and ham.

Supper: baked chicken; Stove Top stuffing; baked potato with Smart Balance olive Oil and sour cream; 2 glasses merlot


SATURDAY

We went down to pick Kylie up at 9 then didn't eat breakfast until we got home and played for awhile. It was probably 11:30 by the time I had breakfast!

Breakfast: 1/2 banana; 1 WW English muffin with Smart Balance, mayo, swiss cheese, and lean imported ham opend faced; skim milk.

Supper: We went o Shannon Door. I had 2 glasses of merlot and a handful of French fries, and a plate-sized pizza with onions, peppers and mushrooms. I ate the whole thing except the crusts.


SUNDAY

Breakfast: Ham, pepperjack cheese, and 2 fried egg (in canola oil) sandwich on 2 slices of WW Pepperidge Farm toast; skim milk; vitamins

Lunch: chicken sandwich with Smart Balance and canola mayo on WW toast; 3 glasses of merlot.

That's it. We ate breakfast so late and luch so late, tht we weren't hungry for supper.

Exercise: just launbdry from the cellar to the 2n floor. No walk. Just a lazy day!

Monday. Somehow, I forgot to post last night.

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol, canola mayo, mesquite smoked tukey breast; banana; skim milk.

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with benecol and more of that turkey breast; raw string beans; water.

Supper: two baked pork chops with dijon and BBQ sauce; salad (lettuce, carrots, sunflower seeds, parmesan cheese, ranch dressing); creamed corn; 2 glasses merlot.

Exercise: Around the block 5 times= a mile and a quarter.

My Bad! Again!

For Supper tonight I had sour cream with Knorr Vegetable Soup and a can of shrimp with Triscuits.

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with sweet red peppers, ham, and pepperjack cheese on WW toast with benecol; banana; water, and multi and fish oil

Lunch: 1/2 crabnmeat sandwich with benecol, canola mayo, and lettuce; skim milk

Snack: handfull of dry roasted peanuts, and that dip plus 2 glasses of merlot.

Saturday

Breakfast: 1 WW English muffin with fried egg in canola oil, benecol, lean importd ham, pepperjack cheese; banana; skim milk

Lunch: 1 WW pita with 2 hot dogs, canola mayo, Howard's Hot Pepper relish, pepperjack cheese; milk

Supper: 2 Margaritas, 1 and 1/2 WW pita with roasted red pepper hummus

Exercise: 1 and 1/2 mile.

Missed my friend Karen's son's wife's shower. I'm so stupid. I had every intention of going but my mind just didn't remember until it was too late. I had a gift and everything. Karen muyst be so pissed at me and I don't blame her!

Help!!

I want some dip and crackers so bad!

Breakfast: 1 WW English muffin with benecol, a bit of mayo, and shredded imported ham; banana; skim milk; multi and fish oil.

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo and shredded imported ham; raw string beans; water.

Supper: sauteed onions and peppers and minute steak in bacon grease (Gary cooked; I would have used canola oil or olive oil!) in a multi-grain tortilla with one slice of pepperjack cheese; 2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: When I got home from school, it was so beautiful so I went for a walk up Hinchey street up 6th Ave to the Russian Church then I meandered through the avenues and returned home an hour later=about 3 miles!

I have a Problem!

Last night after my walk and my husband went upstairs, I made a dip from seafood salad and cream cheese and had it with Wheat Thins. I probably had about a dozen crackers and about a cup of dip. I hate myself but it's so damn good!

Tonight I did the same thing at the same time. I took 6 Triscuits and put cream cheese and imported ham on them. Again, delicious! BUT, I've got to stop doing this! I'm not sure how but will work on it.

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with a slice of pepperjack cheese and turkey breast and canola mayo; banana; skim milk; multi and fish oil

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with chicken salad; raw string beans; water.

Supper: 2 slices WW bread with tuna wiggle=1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup skim milk, and 1 can of tuna; carrot sticks; 1 1/2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: walked around the block 6 times for a total of a mile and a half. I also went to Walmart and walked around there! Yes, that's a chore!

Hump Day

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol and seafood salad; banana; skim milk; multi and fish oil.

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo, 1 slice pepperjack cheese, and turkey breast; raw stringbeans; water.

Supper: 1 WW pita filled with leftover pork tenderloin and barbecue sauce (pulled pork); carrot sticks; 2 1/2 glasses merlot. I drank so much because Gary got home around 4. I never drink until he gets here which is usually around 5 so that limits my intake.

Exercise: I walked five times around the block for a total of a mile and a quarter plus I jogged each time I got to Fifth Ave, for a quarter of the time I was out there.

Two for Tuesday

Two meaning I ate too much for supper! Two pizzas! Okay, they were small pita pizzas but, really, one would have done it. Good, though!

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol and seafood salad; banana; skim milk; multi and fish oil.

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo, dijon and turkey breast; raw string beans; water.

Snack: 1/4 egg salad sandwich on white bread at our staff meeting. Most of the treats were sweets so I chose this. Yes, I could have just skipped anything but...

Supper: 2 WW pita pizzas with spaghetti sauce, 2 tbls alfredo sauce, sweet red peppers, chicken breast, and pizza cheese; 1 1/2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: I walked around the block 6 times which equals about a mile and a half.

Another Monday

It was so hard to get up this morning because it was dark now that we've changed to daylight savings time. I hate it! Plus it didn't get dark until after 7 so I had to wait to go for my walk.

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol, canola mayo, and lean imported ham; banana; skim milk; multi-vitamin, and fish oil capsule.

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo, dijon mustard, and turkey breast; carrot sticks; water.

Supper: chicken breast cooked in cream of mushroom soup and barbecue sauce (not too much of either); baked potato with benecol and 2 tbls. sour cream; fresh string beans with 2 tbls. cheese sauce; 2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: walked 4 times around the block which equals about a mile. Cold!

Just Another Lazy Sunday

Breakfast: I made an Egg McMuffin for myself. 1 WW English muffin, benecol, 1 slice pepperjack cheese, lean imported ham shaved,1 egg fried in canola oil (most of the yolk squirted out and ended up on my plate); banana; skim milk.

It has stopped raining but is cold and windy. I can't even hang my sheets out. I've been doing a bit of laundry and helped Gary put the front wheel back on his motorcycle. Other than that, though, I've been pretty lazy writing poems and posting them and reading others' posts.

Got all my laundry done, folded, and put away.

Snack: handful of dry-roasted peanuts

Appetizer: 7 jumbo cocktail shrimp

Supper: multi-grain wrap with seafood salad mixed with canola mayo, tomatoes, lettuce; 2 glasses merlot.

Exercise: Walked about 3/4 of a mile. It was about 12 degrees and windy. Brrrr!

Saturday

Breakfast: 1 WW English muffin with benecol and 1 tsp. canola mayo topped with an omelette made with 2 egg whites but just one yolk and filled with sweet red peppers, lean ham, and pizza cheese; banana; cup of decaf with Bailey's and half and half.

Snack: handful of peanuts

Lunch: 1 Multi-grain tortilla filled with canola mayo, dijon mustard, sweet red pepper, tomatoes, 1 slice of pepperjack cheese, and turkey breast; large glass of skim milk.

So far so good but it is Saturday night and who knows what I'll have later.

I've been pretty busy cleaning house and doing laundry and carrying it up two flights of stairs. Washed hardwood floor and vacuumed and cleaned the bathroom, etc.

Well, I didn't do too bad.

Supper: bowl of chili with pizza cheese and sour cream; 1 piece of corn bread with benecol; 2 glasses of merlot.

Couldn't walk tonight because it was pouring.

TGIF!

Actually, this week seemed to go fairly quickly. Only Thursday was long because of the brats I have in 3rd block. I even dreamed about them last night. That's bad. And today? They were great! Quiet and industrious. Go figure!

I still weigh about the same but I know these things take time. Like Kylie tells me when I turn the computer on, "Be patient."

Breakfast: 1 WW English muffin (two skinny halves) with benecol and tuna mixed with mayo; banana; skim milk; And I'm going to take my vitamin and fish oil right now! Be back in a jiffy...there, that's done, but it was the last one of each. Now, I'll have to go to Rite Aid, dammit!

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo and lean shaved ham; raw string beans; water

No idea what we'll hve for supper. Leftovers, probably. I think I'll watch the rest of American Idol that I taped last night.

Supper: Leftover Chinese pie, 2 gasses of merlot. But I'm still hungry!

Exercise: I walked around the block 5 times=1 1/4 miles.

I went to the IGA because I wanted to not because I had to take Adrienne.

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol and tuna mixed with canola mayo; banana; skim milk; dammit! I forgot my vitamin and fish oil!

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with canola mayo, dijon, provolone, and turkey breast; carrot sticks; water

Supper: pork tenderloin baked with maple bacon strips, dijon, onions; reduction made with white wine, thyme, and benecol; sweet potatoes with benecol; fresh asparagus with cheese sauce made from cream cheese, cheddar, velveeta, and skim milk. 2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: walked 5 times around the block. That equals about a mile and a quarter.

Hump Day

Rain/snow/sleet/ice mix this morning so we had a two-hour delay. Love it!

tonight we ended up going to sinibaldi's. Karen and Art were there so we sat with them. I tried to make wise choices and partly succeeded.

Breakfast: 1/2 WW English muffin with benecol and tuna mixed with canola mayo; banana, skim milk; Centrum silver; Fish Oil.

Lunch: 1/2 WW pita with 2 tbls. canola mayo, dijon, turkey breast; raw green beans; water.

Supper: 3 Buffalo wings with ranch dressing; celery sticks; corn chowder; salad with ranch dressing; baked potato with butter and sour cream(3); chicken dijon; 2 glasses of merlot.

Exercise: walked around the block for a mile when we got back from Sinibaldi's. I shoveled for a little bit when I got home from school but it was so heavy, I couldn't do as much as I wanted to.

Exercise: walked around the block 7 times which equals about a mile and 3/4.

Had a hair appointment after school so just sat for two hours! Hate that!

Back to school. I have to admit that it was nice to see my kids and talk with them.

Breakfast: 1/2 whole wheat English muffin with 12 tsp. benecol, 1/4 tsp. canola mayo, lean shredded ham; banana; skim milk; 1 Centrum Silver, 1 Fish oil capsule.

Lunch: 1/2 whole wheat pita with 2 tbls. canola mayo, dijon mustard, 1 slice provolone cheese, and turkey breast; carrot sticks; water.

Snack: green seedless grapes

Supper: Chinese Pie: lean hamburg sauteed in olive oil, cream corn, mashed potatoes mashed with benecol and skim milk; 1 and a half glasses of merlot.

Exercise: walked for about a mile and a half tonight. Pretty lazy besides that.

Yay! A Walk!

Just got back from walking about a mile and a half, a quarter of it uphill. It's about 13 degrees out but not windy and the stars are brilliant.

Talked to my mom while I was out there. She sounds so good and is having some work done in her condo. She's getting new tile put in her kitchen and hallway. Nice to hear her upbeat!

I think I'll have a handful of peanuts and a glass of water then head upstairs. Back to school tomorrow.

A Lazy Afternoon

Did a couple loads of laundry and carried them from the cellar to the second floor but that's about it! I sat and finished a book while the golf was on and Gary got tipsy then fell asleep in his recliner.

Mid-afternoon Lunch: bowl of chili with 3 tablespoons of shredded pizza cheese (mozzarella and cheddar), about 3 tablespoons of sour cream; large glass of skim milk.

Supper time: glass of merlot

That's it so far but I might have a little something later this evening.

I'm determined to go for a walk during half time and the 3rd quarter of the Celtics game. I'll let you know if I do!

Evening

Supper: chili with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. I stopped at just one bowl. Yes, I could have eaten a second but controlled myself. Plus, Gary just had one and I didn't want to look like a pig.

Exercise: Nothing. We sat and watched Wings for several hours.

Wine: 2 glasses of merlot

Tomorrow is another day!

Mid-day

Lunch: Multi-grain wrap with about a tablespoon or 2 of canola mayo, 1 slice provolone cheese, tomatoes, sweet red pepper, dijon mustard, and turkey breast. Large glass of skim milk.

Exercise: shoveled the snow for about a half hour
jogged to Rudy's
up and down the stairs for laundry several times.

Triglycerides: 219 (Should be lower than 150)

Cholesterol: 223

Breakfast: whole wheat English muffin with 2 thin slices of pepper jack cheese on each half, benecol, lean shredded ham, and a fried egg. I fried it in canola oil instead of the bacon grease my husband wanted his cooked in!

I also had some green seedless grapes and blueberries

8 ounces of skim milk.
